Dear EAED Member,

It is with great pleasure that we announce our next EAED Closed Meeting, reserved exclusively for members, to be held this autumn in one of the most breathtaking corners of Europe – Algarve, Portugal.

This year, we return to the roots of our Academy’s tradition: a Closed Meeting dedicated to deep scientific exchange, where the quality of content and authentic connections are at the core of the experience.

The Scientific Focus

We will explore one of the most clinically relevant and thought-provoking topics in our field: The compromised tooth – whether periodontally, endodontically, or structurally.

Two key clinical questions will guide our journey:

• How do we treat the periodontally compromised but otherwise intact tooth?
• What options do we have for the endodontically treated and structurally compromised tooth?

A group of six invited speakers – including an orthodontist, an implantologist, a periodontist, two operative dentists, and an endodontist – will present their treatment philosophy, opening up a rich and multidisciplinary dialogue.

Across two days of focused talks, we’ll explore how to improve its prognosis and extend its longevity through diverse clinical approaches and expert insights.

EAED Members will then have the opportunity to contribute: 4 presentation slots will be available to share personal approaches and experiences, followed by a moderated discussion.

The Social Experience

Our meeting will also be a celebration of the connections that define EAED. A carefully curated social program will guide us through the wonders of the Algarve – from its golden cliffs to its hidden grottoes – turning every moment into a memory.

That’s why a series of social tours has been planned to explore the countryside, along with the stunning cliffs and grottoes that make this region so special.

The Venue

Our sushi bar has some amazing sushi with great variety, as well as dishes from other Asian regions including Korea, Japan, Thailand and Cambodia. We get our ingredients from local producers whenever possible.
