Social program

For an Academy with a strong esthetic identity, this is not a contradiction but a necessity: there is no lasting esthetics without function. Beautiful outcomes that ignore occlusal principles risk becoming fragile, unpredictable, or uncomfortable over time, regardless of how refined the visual resut may be. That is why this Closed Meting focuses on occlusion: a topic that sits at the crossroads of restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, implant therapy, orthodontics, and even the management of parafunction and temporomandibular disorders. As a truly multidisciplinary Academy, we cannot afford to treat occlusion as a niche subject or an afterthought we need to understand it, question it, and discuss it together. By doing so, we strengthen a shared clinical language and reinforce the foundation that allows esthetic excellence to be not only beautiful, but also stable, comfortable, and predictable for our patients.

Welcome Reception

The event will begin with a Welcome Reception hosted at Hotel St. Nicolas Bay in Agios Nikolaos. A first evening intentionally easy and welcoming: a relaxed moment to reconnect after travel, meet colleagues, and immediately step into the unique spirit of a Closed Meeting, informal, warm, and genuinely human. Keeping the reception at the venue makes everything effortless and sets the tone for the days ahead, creating a natural space for conversations to start flowing from the very first hour. It's the perfect way to blend returning members and first-time guests into one cohesive group.

Sea-Side Dinner at La Plaka

On Friday evening, we’ll gather for a seaside dinner at La Plaka, a coastal setting chosen for its authentic local atmosphere and the kind of shared experience that forges lasting connections. Away from the conference environment, this dinner becomes a highlight of the meeting: unhurried, convivial, and built for meaningful conversation. The rhythm of the evening creates the ideal backdrop for the friendships and professional relationships that make EAED meetings so special. Expect this to be one of those nights people remember long after the event ends.

Farewell Dinner

The meeting concludes with a Farewell Dinner on the Saturday evening, a final evening to celebrate the experience and close the circle together. It's the moment where the scientific inspiration of the program meets the emotional value of the community: conversations deepen, ideas get consolidated, and the weekend's energy turns into lasting memories. Traditionally, it's also where future collaborations and new bonds get sealed, simply because everyone is fully present and aware that the following day the group will disperse again. A strong ending that leaves you wanting to come back.

Activities for Accompanying Persons

A wide range of activities will be available for accompanying persons at the St. Nicolas Bay Resort. In order to make the booking process as simple and flexible as possible, we have made direct arrangements with the hotel management, allowing participants to book their preferred activities directly through the hotel.
Reservations may be modified until 6:00 pm on the day before the scheduled activity. The only exception concerns treatments at the hotel spa, which require early booking due to high demand and limited availability, as they tend to sell out very quickly.
We therefore kindly invite all interested guests to visit the hotel website and make their reservations directly with the hotel in advance.

Registration

The EAED Closed Meeting 2026 is open to EAED Members.
