Welcome to the July 2026 edition of the EAED Monthly Bulletin. This newsletter includes updates from the Executive Committee (EXCO) and all other Working Committees, Updates from the Spring Meeting in Barcelona, Pearls from our official journal IJED and important news from our partners.
Committees Updates
The EAED has several committees: Executive Committee, Financial Advisors, Membership Committee, Affiliate Committee, Media Committee, Candidate Committee, Innovation Committee & Sponsorship Committee.
Executive Committee
Dear Speakers, Industry Sponsors and Exhibitors, Members, Affiliates and Guests,
We closed our 2026, 39th EAED Spring Meeting with an unprecedented number of attendees, who overwhelmingly expressed their satisfaction and enthusiasm about their experience in Barcelona. This success is the result of tremendous teamwork and effort from the Exco, our scientific and local chairs, committees alongside with the relentless support of our organising partners, Mondial and CREA.
Of course, it was mainly the quality of our speakers that drew such a crowd to this meeting, and we extend our deepest appreciation to them for sharing such high-quality clinical and scientific material. We also wish to thank our industry partners for their contribution and engagement, without which this meeting would not have been possible. The venues for the Meeting, Welcome Reception, and Gala Dinner were simply extraordinary, and we trust that everyone returned home with positive emotions and lasting memories. We then thank all attendees who joined us in Barcelona to share these incredible moments of camaraderie and intense professional exchange.
We loved preparing this meeting for you and already started to move on with our 40th Anniversary Congress in Geneva. Looking forward to seeing you there…

Media Committee

Innovation Committee
Shaping the Future
The EAED Innovation Committee remains dedicated to scouting emerging concepts, technologies, and treatment philosophies that hold significant value for future Academy gatherings. Our current focus includes developments in digital workflows, robotics, artificial intelligence, new biomaterials, regenerative dentistry, and tissue engineering, as well as innovative clinical concepts poised to influence the future of esthetic and reconstructive dentistry and oral health.
Our commitment to these advancements was exemplified at our open meeting in Barcelona, where Galip Gürel and Stefan Koubi presented their pioneering vision for robotic applications in laminate veneer treatments. Their brilliant lecture generated significant interest and highlighted the essential need to engage with the innovators currently shaping our field.
As the Committee strives to identify novel ideas and foster meaningful dialogue, we invite all EAED members and affiliates to submit your own innovative projects, concepts, technologies, or developments for consideration. Selected proposals may be vetted by the Committee for inclusion in future EAED meeting programs.
Innovation is an integral part of the Academy’s DNA, and we look forward to discovering the concepts that will help define the next era of esthetic dentistry.

The Organizing committee, is delighted to invite all our members and guests to the Next Spring meeting of the EAED.
The meeting will take place from June 3rd to 5th, 2027, in the magnificent city of Geneva, the birthplace of our Academy more than forty years ago. Returning to where it all began makes this edition truly unique: a chance to celebrate our past, embrace our present, and shape our future, continuing, as always, to lead the pursuit of excellence in our profession.
The Geneva edition will mark a true return to our roots. Fittingly, the theme of this edition will be "40 Years of Lead in Esthetic Dentistry": a special occasion to retrace, together, the vision and the ideals that have shaped our Academy, celebrating four decades of history, embracing the present, and looking ahead to the future of our profession. Renowned speakers, inspiring lectures, and authentic exchanges will come together in a location as beautiful as it is meaningful.
Our meeting will be hosted at the President Wilson hotel, an iconic location in Geneva, situated right on the lake shore with breathtaking views of the city and the nearby alps. The congress will take place in this hotel which offers outstanding facilities for the main scientific program and most of our additional meetings and workshops.
